The importance of the
Quran and its teachings is not only confined to Muslims alone; but on a more
general perspective, we see that pious people from all the religions of the
world respect the everlasting teachings of the Holy Quran. For Muslims, of
course there is a lot more respect and love in the hearts for this divine book.
Reading its teachings and implementing them in our daily lives is in fact an
Islamic duty, but with that we see that our status in this life as well as the
next also rises. We are blessed by ten rewards for each alphabet that we
recite; it is an endless ocean of rewards and blessings, something that will
help us on the Day of Judgment. Hence, following the code of life mentioned in
the Quran will verily beautify our present as well as future; moreover, it will
help diminish the past mistakes or bad deeds. So as our Lord Himself has taken
up the responsibility of protecting this eternal divine book, we are subjected
to following the teachings.
But then the question
arises, are the teachings that simply written in this Holy book for a normal
human being to understand? Can one definitely find the answers to his questions
without prior knowledge of which chapters cover what topics; of course not. A
normal and average Muslim doesn’t the amount of intelligence needed to deal
with such matter without proper teachings. This is the reason why our parents
try to get us to study the Quran at such delicate and young ages so that their
teachings sink in to us like our language or likes and dislikes. Ladies and
gentlemen, still, the reality lies in the fact that these teachings are needed
to be taught more on social media where Muslims are accustomed to spend more
